Sankey Diagram: two-stage energy example

This fictional example extends the three-row example at:
https://definedbytes.com/sankey-chart/#data-guide

All values are in kWh. The figures illustrate a balanced flow structure.
They are not estimates of typical energy use or losses.

Files
sankey-two-stage-energy.xlsx - five connections on the Flows worksheet
sankey-two-stage-energy.sad - the finished Sankey Diagram document

Import the workbook
1. Start a new Sankey Diagram document. The workbook already contains all
five connections, so do not add it to the original three-row example.
2. Choose "Import data to the table" below the data grid and open the XLSX.
3. On Flows, select A2:D6, excluding the headers in row 1.
4. Choose "Import Selected", then answer "No" to the question about headers.
5. Drag column A to Source, B to Target, C to Value and D to Note.
6. Choose Ok. Check five rows with values 60, 25, 15, 45 and 15.
7. Choose Generate Diagram. The grid shows Rows: 5, Sum: 160.00.
8. For the illustrated title, set Diagram Options > Header to
   "Two-stage energy example (kWh)".

Open the finished example
Use File > Open for the .sad document. Use the import command for the XLSX.
Save a separate copy with File > Save As when making your own changes.

How to read the balance
Energy supply sends 60 to Useful output, 25 to Conversion losses and 15 to
Distribution losses. Total input is 60 + 25 + 15 = 100 kWh.
Useful output then sends 45 to Service A and 15 to Service B.
At this intermediate node, incoming 60 equals outgoing 45 + 15.
The final destinations receive 25 + 15 + 45 + 15 = 100 kWh.

The sum of all connection rows is 60 + 25 + 15 + 45 + 15 = 160 kWh.
The same 60 kWh appears once on the way into Useful output and once across
the two connections leaving it. The grid sum adds links across stages;
it does not measure the unique amount entering the whole system.

Use exactly the same node label in Target and Source to join two stages.
Check unit consistency, duplicate rows and each intermediate-node balance
when adapting the example to real data.
