QUICK GANTT CHART: BASELINE COMPARISON EXAMPLE

This small example accompanies the DefinedBytes baseline tutorial:
https://definedbytes.com/quick-gantt-chart-tutorials/#baseline-guide

Files
- baseline-comparison-example.gnt: the completed comparison, saved by Quick Gantt Chart.
- baseline-example.csv: the original two tasks, for trying the steps yourself.

Open the .gnt file using File > Open in Quick Gantt Chart. The selected baseline
is "Approved plan - 5 Oct". Review starts on 7 October 2026. Its current finish
is 9 October; its saved baseline finish is 8 October.

To reproduce the example from the beginning, create a separate empty project,
choose File > Import, and import the CSV. Map Name to Task Name, Start to Start
Date and Finish to Finish Date. The selection includes its header row. Validate
the two rows and finish the import. Create and select a baseline before changing
Review's current Finish date through the calendar in Task Settings.

All task names and dates are synthetic. There are no dependencies or resources.
The example uses Monday-Friday working hours, 08:00-16:00. Imported finish dates
include the whole finish day. Keep the time unchanged when selecting 9 October.

No Baseline hides the comparison without restoring the current schedule.
A baseline stores planned task dates; keep normal project backups as well.

Checked with the Microsoft Store package Quick Gantt Chart 1.0.97.0 on
13 September 2026. Interface appearance may differ with your settings.
